As one of the world’s largest construction and development companies, we work together with customers, communities and partners to shape a better society.We are currently looking for a Mobile Electrical Engineer based from our office at 51 Moorgate, London, who will maintain, install, repair and conduct fault finding of electrical systems and equipment across various commercial properties in central London.You will be working in the Building Services Operating Unit, in the Commercial Property Maintenance (CPM) department, delivering nationwide facilities management, including M&E support, cleaning, catering, and grounds maintenance, using technology for efficient planned and reactive services. As the Mobile Electrical Engineer, you will:Conduct Planned preventative maintenance, response, and fault finding on Low Voltage Electrical Installations and Equipment.Carry out Building Services maintenance to SFG20 requirements for Electrical/Mechanical equipment.Carry out fault finding and plant adjustments, check and inspect electrical/mechanical services, plant, and systems, and complete maintenance tasks in accordance with contract specification.Carry out general duties which require an Electrical skilled discipline, including but not limited to lighting and small power repairs, fault finding on electrical wiring systems, motors, generators, lighting systems, chillers, AHU’s, and all Electrical/HVAC equipment.When required, carry out small electrical installation works, testing and certification in line with BS7671 and certify via the company NICEIC portal.Implement & comply with the procedures as detailed in the company’s Health & Safety Policies, Statutory obligations and in accordance with the Skanska IFE (Injury Free Environment We are looking for:Electrically Qualified with Level 2 and 3 Electrical Installation Diplomas(or equivalent) and preferably NVQ3/AM2 or Apprenticeship served.2382- 18th Edition requirements of BS7671.Inspection and Testing or Equivalent is preferable.Comfortable with Technical guidance and testing/certification of works.Health & Safety IOSH Working Safely qualification or similar (CITB H&S etc).Ability to demonstrate experience in a customer facing role.Ability to work both independently and as part of a team. What we offer:24/7 digital GP service for you and your family Financial wellbeing and employee assistance Professional development Enhanced family benefits (including maternity, paternity, dependants and parental bereavement leave)  Inclusion and Diversity We thrive through embracing differences as we know that diversity opens a rich potential for new ways of thinking, helping us to build successful and high-performing teams.
