Commercial Finance Manager

We are partnering with a large, well‑established and highly successful business to recruit for a Commercial Finance Manager. This is a high‑visibility role supporting senior stakeholders, driving financial discipline across the business and providing robust commercial insight to support investment and capital decisions. Reporting into a senior finance leader, you will play a key role in shaping the performance across the business. You will act as a trusted finance partner to operational and transformation teams, ensuring strong financial process, high‑quality analysis and clear insight to support decision‑making. Key responsibilities include: Business partner senior stakeholders across functions to provide commercial insight on investment and capital projects Lead budgeting, forecasting and long‑range planning for operating costs and expenditure Provide robust challenge on spend, efficiencies and return on investment Own and develop financial models to support business cases, capital prioritisation and investment appraisal Track and report performance against budgets, forecasts and approved business cases, clearly explaining variances Support governance of capital projects, including post‑investment reviews and benefits realisation Contribute to wider finance and transformation initiatives within a high‑performing finance functionRequirements A recognised accounting qualification (ACA / ACCA / CIMA or equivalent) Proven experience in a commercial finance or business‑partnering role within a large or complex organisation Strong experience of budgeting, forecasting and financial modelling The ability to translate complex financial information into clear, actionable insight Excellent stakeholder management skills, with the confidence to challenge constructively A proactive, curious mindset and a desire to improve how things are doneBy applying, you will be registered as a candidate with Marc Daniels Specialist Recruitment Limited.
