Freelance AV Installation Engineer Swansea Based Throughout 2026 We are working with a client supporting a university in Swansea that requires an experienced AV Installation Engineer for a month-long freelance contract throughout May. This is a hands-on role focused on delivering high-quality AV installations across teaching spaces and campus environments. Key Responsibilities: * Installation of AV systems across lecture theatres, classrooms, and meeting spaces * Cabling, termination, and containment work * Rack build and equipment installation * System setup and basic commissioning * Working alongside project teams to deliver installs to a high standard Requirements: * Proven experience in AV installation environments * Strong understanding of cabling and system integration * Experience with rack builds and equipment setup * Ability to work independently on site * Own tools preferred Contract Details: * Freelance contract throughout May * Based on site in Swansea * Competitive day rate This is a solid opportunity for an experienced install engineer looking for consistent work across the month.
