Maintenance Assistant

Maintenance Assistant Our client is currently looking for a Maintenance Assistant to join their busy hospitality team. This is a fantastic opportunity for a reliable and practical individual who enjoys a hands-on role in a fast-paced environment. Key Responsibilities: * Carry out general maintenance and minor repairs across the property. * Complete routine inspections and preventative maintenance tasks. * Respond to maintenance requests in a timely and professional manner. * Ensure all work is carried out in line with health and safety procedures. * Help maintain a safe, clean, and well-presented environment for guests and staff. * Report any maintenance issues that require specialist attention. What We're Looking For: * Previous experience in a maintenance, facilities, or handyman role is preferred. * Basic knowledge of plumbing, electrical work, painting, or carpentry is advantageous. * A proactive approach with good problem-solving skills. * Ability to work independently and as part of a team. * Flexible, reliable, and committed to delivering high standards. Working Pattern: * Rota-based shifts, including the possibility of weekend work, depending on business requirements. * Flexibility is essential as shifts and hours will vary according to the needs of the business. Pay Rate: * Competitive hourly rate (to be confirmed).
