Site Manager – Freelance Pontefract £250-£280 per day 3rd August 2026 6 Weeks We are seeking an experienced Site Manager to lead the successful delivery of a 6-week refurbishment project on a school in Pontefract. The successful candidate will play a key role in managing site operations, ensuring the project is delivered safely, on time and to the highest quality standards. Key Responsibilities Overseeing mainly interna refurbishment works packages Coordinate multiple subcontractors, suppliers and site teams Ensure strict adherence to health & safety regulations and company procedures Manage programme delivery and monitor progress against project timelines Maintain high quality standards and ensure compliance with specifications Conduct site meetings, toolbox talks and progress reporting Requirements Proven experience as a Site Manager ideally with education experience Strong knowledge of construction processes and site management Excellent leadership and communication skills Ability to manage subcontractors and drive programme delivery Essential Qualifications SMSTS CSCS (Black or Gold Card) First Aid at Work Relevant construction qualification (HNC/HND/NVQ/Degree desirable) Please email your CV to (url removed), outlining previous experience and availability.
