Shift Engineer

Reference: BH-69388-3 We are supporting a leading food processor that is expanding at pace as they near record production levels. To complement this growth, they are seeking additional shift engineers to work on a 5on/5off days and nights rotation. Ideally you will have worked within the food sector previously, but this is not essential. The business welcomes applications from engineers with either mechanical or electrical bias. Core duties include:Ensure routine maintenance is carried out to support an upturn in OEECarry out maintenance activities, ensuring that the manufacturing team achieve 100% compliance to the production plan, by minimising engineering downtimeCarry out engineering work to good standard, safely and in timely mannerFully engaged in supporting the engineering maintenance strategy to move from a reactive breakdown philosophy to proactive and preventative maintenanceTo step change the performance and efficiency of the existing plant through continuous improvement techniquesEnsure workshop is kept to a good standard, clean and tidyKeep all tools in good serviceable condition and make sure they are fit for purposeComplete Job reports/tickets each shiftThere is ongoing training and support available for the right candidate and you will be joining a close-knit team that is passionate about skills development.
