CNC Programmer/Setter/Operator

This is an exciting opportunity to advance your career and share your passion for precision engineering. Job role / duties Work with materials such as model board, aluminium & steel. Deal with any issues that arise in relation to machine programming and operating, adjusting where necessary Operate Siemens & Heidenheim controllers Use CMS Area 3618 5-axis, Dugard, Mte and Hurco machines Work with 3D CAD models and use Power Mill CAM software Work in line with machine capability to meet customer quality expectations. Liaise with colleagues and customers to ensure jobs are completed in the timeframe and quality parameters required Conduct inspections of finished products to ensure adherence to specifications and quality standards. Maintaining and promoting safe working practices within the department, including the correct operation of tools, equipment and PPE. To be considered you MUST Have at least 5 years experience in this job role Have proficiency with Power Mill cam software Have experience as outlined in the duties Be used to workig to deadline Be able to read and understand drawings Able to read and understand drawings and work with 3D CAD models Be able to work unsupervised at times Have excellent verbal & written communication skills This role is UK based and does NOT have sponsorship opportunity  Our process is barrier free and we will ensure you are carefully considered for the role you have applied for.
