The PositionWe are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented IT Business Analyst to join our Project Management team. This role serves as a bridge between IT and business stakeholders, ensuring that projects are delivered successfully, on time, and aligned with organizational objectives.The ideal candidate will have strong analytical skills, an understanding of business processes, and the ability to translate complex requirements into actionable solutions. This position offers an exciting opportunity to contribute to the success of our IT initiatives, drive operational efficiencies, and support business growth through technology.AccountabilitiesElicit, analyse, and document business requirements through stakeholder interviews, workshops, and process reviewsSupport business change management activities for assigned projects, including helping assess change impacts, engage stakeholders, prepare communications, coordinate training materials, and support user readiness.Develop business cases, project charters, process flows, and system specificationsEnsure project scope aligns with business objectives and stakeholder expectationsConduct analysis of existing business processes, identifying areas for improvementRecommend enhancements that increase efficiency, reduce costs, and align with strategic goalsAssist project managers in tracking project timelines, dependencies, risks, and issuesMaintain essential project documents, including requirements traceability matrices and impact assessmentsAct as a liaison between IT teams and the business to ensure understanding and alignmentTranslate technical information into easy-to-understand insights for non-technical stakeholdersFacilitate cross-functional collaboration to drive consensus and achieve project successSupport the development and execution of test cases, user acceptance testing (UAT), and validation of solutionsAssist in troubleshooting system issues and coordinating resolutions with IT teamsAnalyse business systems, applications, and project-related data to support data-driven decision-makingPrepare reports, dashboards, and presentations to communicate findings and project status updatesKnowledge, Skills & AbilitiesProficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, PowerPoint, Word, and Visio)Strong analytical and problem-solving abilitiesExcellent written and verbal communication skillsAbility to work effectively in a fast-paced, collaborative environment and manage multiple prioritiesQualificationsBachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, Business Management or related fieldExperience in a business analyst or similar role   Knowledge of project management methodologies and business analysis techniquesAt RES we celebrate difference as we know it makes our company a great place to work.
