Quantity Surveyor Renewables & Social Housing

South Manchester (Hybrid Working)

We are seeking an experienced and commercially astute Quantity Surveyor to join our growing business, delivering a diverse portfolio of renewable energy and social housing projects across the region.

Reporting directly to the Commercial Director, this is a key role offering the opportunity to play a pivotal part in the continued growth and success of the company.

The Role

As Quantity Surveyor, you will be responsible for the commercial management of projects from pre-construction through to final account. You will work across a range of renewable and social housing schemes, ensuring financial efficiency while maintaining high standards of delivery.

Key Responsibilities

Full commercial management of multiple projects
Cost planning, budgeting, and forecasting
Procurement of subcontractors and suppliers
Valuations, variations, and final accounts
Contract administration and risk management
Liaising with project teams, clients, and stakeholders
Supporting the Commercial Director in driving business performance

About You

Proven experience as a Quantity Surveyor, ideally within renewables and/or social housing
Strong commercial awareness and cost management skills
Self-motivated, driven, and able to work independently
A proactive thinker who can make sound decisions and take ownership
Excellent communication and negotiation skills
Ambition to grow with a forward-thinking business
