About the role
Working in a hybrid style, based at home and our DEPS office, you will work part time, 21 hours per week.
You will have a post graduate qualification in educational psychology and current registration with the HCPC as an educational psychologist. The Educational Psychologist will be responsible for undertaking work required within the terms of the remit of the psychological service as prescribed by statutory legislation. The Educational Psychologist will carry out these duties in accordance with the policies and procedures laid down by the education authority, the Educational Psychology Service and the Health and Care Professions Council. You will have experience of participation in strategic projects within psychological services and the wider Council, evidence of reflective practices and effective work with schools/families/ partners and children.
A good listener, effective in collaborative and team working with the ability to take initiative and understanding of Local Authority context are essential.
