Retail Account Executive - Midlands

Midlands - Home based Up to £36,000 Basic + Car Allow + Bonus We are working exclusively on behalf of a retained client, a well-established British technology business specialising in home safety products. Following significant investment the business is entering an exciting period of growth and is now strengthening its UK commercial teams across retail, professional and commercial markets. We are looking for an Account Executive - Retail Channel to support the development and day-to-day management of key retail accounts. The Role Reporting to the Senior National Account Manager, you will help deliver sales, revenue and margin targets while developing strong customer relationships and identifying opportunities for account growth. Key responsibilities include: * Supporting the management and development of key retail accounts. * Building strong customer and internal stakeholder relationships. * Supporting account plans, promotions and trading agreements. * Monitoring account performance and identifying opportunities to increase sales and profitability. * Identifying range gaps and new product opportunities. * Working closely with Sales, Marketing, Supply Chain and Customer Service. * Supporting customer presentations, account reviews and range reviews. * Becoming the team's Retail Media Champion, coordinating activity, analysing data and identifying commercial opportunities. About You We're looking for a proactive, commercially minded individual with: * A minimum of 2 -3 years sales retail account management or customer-facing commercial experience. * Proven experience supporting account growth, promotions and customer relationships. * Good commercial, numerical and analytical skills. * Strong communication and stakeholder management abilities. * Excellent organisation and attention to detail. * Good Excel and PowerPoint skills. * A full UK driving licence. Experience within UK retail, DIY, electrical, hardware, trade or consumer products would be advantageous. Retail media experience is desirable but not essential.
