About the role

We are seeking a methodical, detail-oriented, and systematic Hygiene Manager to lead our sanitation and safety compliance operations. You will be responsible for defining, maintaining, and auditing our facilitys hygiene standards. The ideal candidate thrives on precision, takes ownership of regulatory documentation, and possesses the communication skills to foster a strict food safety culture across the entire team.

Direct and monitor the cleaning of production lines, machinery, and facility infrastructure.

Supervise, rota, and train the hygiene team, ensuring strict adherence to safe working practices.

Maintain and update Cleaning Instruction Procedures (CIPs) to ensure the site passes all external audits (e.g., BRCGS, FDA).

Record and manage chemical usage logs, COSHH data, and post-clean microbial testing results.

Monitor and order chemical stocks, PPE, and specialized cleaning equipment within budget.

Investigate hygiene non-conformances, running root-cause analysis to implement permanent fixes
