Where will you be working?
With 3 depots across the UK, M Group Services Plant & Fleet Solutions provide innovative plant and fleet asset management solutions across M Group Ltd. We provide our business with more than 9,000 vehicles and over 25,000 owned or externally hired plant assets.
What will you be doing?
In this role, you’ll support the delivery of accurate internal hire invoicing across M Group business units, ensuring transparency and alignment with customers ahead of month-end submissions. You’ll also be responsible for producing timely and accurate monthly stock valuations, alongside collating and developing financial, safety, and stock reports for Finance and senior stakeholders.
Support with providing accurate hire invoices for internal hire to the various business units within MGroup.
Ensuring accurate NDC Monthly Stock Valuations are submitted to Finance and Senior Management / Directors in a timely manner as well as collating information and producing Financial, Safety & Stock Reports.
Support of Capital-Expenditure process for Plant & Equipment alongside NDC Management team.
Review External Spend and provide details / suggestions to management team with the aim to identify all opportunities to reduce spend and increase internal revenue.
Creation of new Hire Rates for Item Parts that are introduced into the Fleet alongside reviewing to ensure projected hire revenues are in line with expectations. Review of Existing Hire Rates are complete to ensure expected income is obtained with any issues identified and solutions proposed
Pricing / Forecasting the cost of the different project requirements and liaising with Bids / Project Management Teams.
What you’ll bring
Confident user of Microsoft Office packages
Highly IT literate, with the ability to analyse and interpret data
Proven ability to handle and maintain confidential information with discretion
Strong organisational skills, with the ability to meet tight deadlines
Experience in compiling reports and producing accurate, data-driven forecasts and plans for the department
