Mobile – nationwide travel, with occasional overnight stays
£20–£22 per hour / £41,600-£45,760.00 depending on experience
40-hour contract with variable overtime

About Our Client
Our client is a growing tanker maintenance business looking to recruit its first Mobile Tanker Technician.
Joining at this stage means working closely with the owner, contributing your experience and ideas, and playing a key part in developing the service as the business expands.
About the Role
You'll carry out tanker servicing, maintenance, fault diagnosis and repairs at customer sites across the UK. This role requires regular nationwide travel and occasional overnight stays.
Your responsibilities will include:
Inspecting, servicing and repairing tankers to a high standard.
Diagnosing and resolving mechanical, hydraulic, pneumatic and electrical faults.
Working independently to complete safe, reliable repairs.
Keeping accurate records of maintenance and repair work.
Delivering a professional, helpful service and building strong customer relationships.
About You
Our client is looking for a skilled tanker mechanic who takes pride in their work and is confident working independently.
You'll bring:
Proven experience maintaining and repairing tankers.
Practical knowledge of hydraulic, pneumatic and electrical systems.
Strong fault-finding and problem-solving skills.
A willingness to travel nationwide and stay away overnight when required.
Good communication skills and a professional approach to customer service.
A full UK driving licence.
Relevant mechanical or engineering qualifications would be an advantage.
