About the role

Novara People are currently recruiting for a Warehouse Operative / FLT Driver to join a well-established manufacturing business based in Shipley. Hours Monday to Friday 12:00pm – 8:45pm Our client is a leading manufacturer supplying bespoke products to the construction, infrastructure and utility sectors. With a strong reputation for quality and innovation, they are looking for a reliable and hardworking individual to support their warehouse and production operations. This is a varied role combining warehouse duties with forklift truck operation. The successful candidate will play a key part in ensuring materials and finished products are moved safely and efficiently throughout the site while supporting the smooth running of the warehouse. Skills: Key Responsibilities Operating an FLT to move materials and finished products safely around site Loading and unloading deliveries Picking and preparing customer orders for dispatch Supplying materials to production departments Booking stock in and out of the warehouse Carrying out general warehouse duties, including packing and palletising products Assisting with stock takes and maintaining accurate stock levels Completing daily FLT safety checks Maintaining a clean, organised and safe working environment Adhering to all company health and safety procedures Supporting colleagues across the warehouse and production departments when required Qualifications: Previous warehouse experience is essential Valid Counterbalance FLT licence (essential) Experience within a manufacturing environment is advantageous Good attention to detail Strong organisational skills Reliable with a positive work ethic Able to work both independently and as part of a team
