Senior Laboratory Technician

Ready to lead a small laboratory team while staying hands-on with the technical work? We're recruiting a Senior Laboratory Technician for a manufacturing business in Exeter. You'll manage a team of three and work closely with the Laboratory Manager to keep testing, quality and compliance on track.  What you'll be doing Managing and supporting three laboratory team members Planning daily laboratory work and ensuring testing is completed accurately Carrying out chemical analysis and investigating technical issues Monitoring and interpreting analytical results Overseeing environmental and effluent testing Maintaining safe working practices and laboratory procedures Supporting audits and working with production colleagues Improving quality, consistency and efficiency across the laboratory What we're looking for You'll have experience in a laboratory and knowledge of chemical testing techniques. You'll be organised, confident solving problems and comfortable guiding a small team. Previous supervisory or manufacturing laboratory experience would be useful but is not essential. Relevant science, chemistry, laboratory or engineering qualifications are also welcome.
