About the role
Role Overview:
We are seeking a Qualified Teacher (with QTS or EYTS) to lead nursery & reception age group. You will design and teach curriculum, monitor progress, ensure school readiness, and collaborate with parents & staff. The role is a full time position, starting in November and lasting until the summer in the first instance.
About the Nursery / School:
A nursery school registered with education authority, with a Reception class and nursery provision. High expectations, excellent facilities, strong staff development and inclusive ethos.
Key Responsibilities:
Plan & deliver EYFS curriculum for ages 3‑5
Prepare children for transition to KS1
Monitor assessment & progress; use data to inform planning
Lead staff meetings & coach support staff
Ensure safeguarding, behaviour & welfare
Prerequisites:
QTS or EYTS / recognised teaching qualification
Experience teaching early years (nursery / reception)
Strong curriculum knowledge, especially EYFS
Enhanced DBS & safeguarding training
All candidates who register with Simply Education are required to provide references for the previous 2 years of work, as well as complete an enhanced DBS check. Any interviews we hold will be conducted over a Teams call
