Sales Account Manager

Our client is looking for a Sales Account Manager to join their team. This is a remote role however you would be required to attend there office when required Salary is up to £70,000 plus bonus    As an Account Manager, you will be responsible for delivering a high level of service to our clients and their SMETS customer base within the smart metering sector. This is a senior, customer-facing role, focused on building, managing and developing strong relationships with key energy companies and Meter Asset Providers (MAPs) across the UK. You will combine strong commercial acumen, exceptional relationship management skills and strategic thinking to understand client needs, identify opportunities and drive long-term partnerships. Working closely with key stakeholders, you will play a key role in strengthening our market position and establishing our client as a trusted partner of choice within the smart metering industry. You will be responsible for the development and maintenance of the sales account plan, looking at key areas to grow revenue and profit, managing product availability through forecast analysis, as well as achieving the relevant targets for revenue, profitability and growth. * Develop and shape the sales account plan, tactics, profit targets * Develop relationships at all levels within the companies assigned to you * Lead the sales activity to develop the customer account at a senior relationship level, ensuring all downstream activities is on message and appropriate * Identify and report on business opportunities and ensure the appropriate qualification of the opportunity * Lead RFI/RFP/ITT response with the support of the Bid Co-ordinator * Sales management - maintaining and updating the sales pipeline and sales tracker of current opportunities The ideal candidate is someone who can demonstrate customer engagement, negotiations and change management within the energy or manufacturing sector
