Job Title: Design & Contracts Co-ordinator (Applied Products)
Locaion: Hemel Hempstead
Salary: £35,000 - £43,000 + Bonus
We are working exclwith a well-established specialist engineering business within the building services sector, recognised for delivering high-quality, technically led solutions across commercial projects throughout the UK.
This is a fantastic opportunity to join a growing technical team supporting the delivery of complex, bespoke projects within the applied HVAC and building services space.
The Role
As a Design & Contracts Co-ordinator, you will play a key role in supporting both the Sales and Operations functions, ensuring technical accuracy, smooth project delivery, and high levels of customer satisfaction across a range of applied product projects.
You will be involved from early enquiry stage through to order handover, helping to ensure specifications, quotations, and documentation are accurate, compliant, and aligned to client requirements.
Key responsibilities include:
Supporting pre-sales enquiries and assisting with product selection (chillers, heat pumps and applied systems)
Producing technical schedules, proposals and supporting documentation
Managing customer orders, ensuring accuracy and full compliance with specifications
Maintaining detailed project and proposal files throughout the lifecycle
Acting as a key point of contact for clients and internal teams
Supporting technical handovers to operations and service teams
Liaising with manufacturers and suppliers to ensure smooth project delivery
Providing general technical and administrative support across the team
Assisting with workload sharing during peak periods and absencesAbout You
We are looking for someone who is organised, detail-focused and confident working in a technical, customer-facing environment.
You will ideally have:
Strong analytical and communication skills
Experience in a technical, construction, engineering or HVAC-related environment (preferred)
Understanding of applied systems such as chillers, heat pumps or hydronic systems (advantageous)
Good contract and/or project coordination experience
Strong IT skills, particularly Microsoft Office
Excellent organisation and time management skills
A proactive, team-focused approach
A background in engineering, project coordination or technical sales support would be highly beneficial.
