We are seeking a Refuse Vehicle Mechanic with proven and demonstrable experience within the waste industry to join our team. The purpose of the role is to achieve and persistently maintain high standards of workmanship and competence in performing tasks associated with preventative maintenance checks and general maintenance, whilst also maintaining high standards of internal and external communications and relationships. Carry out inspections, diagnosing any faults and defects on fleet vehicles, trailers, related equipment and components. This includes testing, dismantling, overhauling, repairing, and re-assembling as required Participate in supporting operatives and employees in preventative maintenance checks, services and general maintenance/repairs of fleet vehicles, trailers, related equipment and components Perform emergency call out repairs as required Competently operate electronic testing equipment and other hand tools Complete all necessary paperwork accurately and in a timely manner, as required, and in line with Countrystyle's policies and procedures.
