Due to continued growth and a strong pipeline of secured work, they are looking to appoint an ambitious Project Quantity Surveyor to join their expanding commercial team. This is an excellent opportunity to gain exposure to major projects within a fast-paced and progressive environment, offering genuine long-term career development alongside experienced industry professionals.About the RoleDuties May Include:Taking ownership of the commercial performance of projects alongside operational teamsSupporting the delivery of projects within budget while maintaining strong financial controlProducing valuations, cost reporting and commercial forecasts in line with project deadlinesManaging subcontractor accounts from procurement through to final account settlementReviewing and managing project changes, additional works and contractual adjustmentsMaintaining strong working relationships with clients, suppliers and internal stakeholdersMonitoring commercial risk across projects and helping drive proactive solutionsEnsuring commercial processes and contractual obligations are administered correctlySupporting accurate record keeping to strengthen commercial position and project recoveryContributing to monthly reporting, forecasting and overall project financial perfRequirements:EssentialPrevious experience within a Quantity Surveying or commercial role within constructionGood understanding of construction contracts and commercial proceduresConfident using Microsoft Office packages including Excel, Word and TeamsStrong numerical and analytical skills with the ability to manage costs and forecasts effectivelyUnderstanding of valuation processes, cost reporting and commercial management principlesAbility to review drawings, measure works and assess project costsCommercially aware with strong attention to detail and organisational skillsStrong communication skills and ability to build relationships with project teams and clientsDesiredExperience working with JCT forms of contractDegree qualified in Quantity Surveying or a related disciplineWorking towards or holding a professional accreditation such as RICS or CIOBValid CSCS card
