The Role
Morgan Jones is recruiting on behalf of a respected client seeking an experienced Financial Analyst to join their finance team on a contract basis until January 2027.
This is an excellent opportunity for a finance professional who enjoys working with financial data, providing insightful analysis, and supporting key business decisions through accurate reporting and forecasting.
Key Responsibilities
* Complete month-end financial activities to support the production of monthly financial statements
* Prepare detailed financial analyses and management reports
* Support departmental management with financial reporting and decision-making
* Assist in developing annual budgets and expense forecasts
* Produce staffing forecasts and statistical reports
* Analyse financial performance and identify key trends
* Provide variance analysis and explanations
* Conduct cost analysis and support continuous improvement initiatives
* Ensure financial information is accurate, timely and compliant with internal requirements
What We're Looking For
* Degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related discipline or Intermediate level of relevant professional work experience in the field of study required.
* Relevant professional finance experience at an intermediate level
* Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
* Experience with budgeting, forecasting and financial reporting
* Ability to communicate financial information clearly to stakeholders
* Progress towards a recognised accounting qualification (CPA, CMA, ACA, ACCA, CIMA or equivalent) is advantageous
