About the Business A fantastic opportunity to join an esteemed charitable organisation based in Kidderminster as an Assistant Management Accountant, paying £30,000 - £35,000. This varied role offers excellent exposure across both management and financial accounting, working closely with the FP&A Manager and Accounting Manager in a friendly, supportive finance team. Full study support is on offer, making it an ideal next step for someone keen to grow their career and progress their qualification. The business also offers hybrid working with 3 days on site and the rest spent at home. Main Duties: As an Assistant Management Accountant, your main duties include: * Helping to pull together accurate monthly management accounts, balance sheet reconciliations, and cash flow reporting * Producing monthly variance analysis along with clear supporting commentary * Posting general ledger transactions, month-end journals, and cashbook entries * Stepping in to cover the FP&A and Accounting Manager during holidays and periods of absence * Lending a hand to the accounts payable and receivable functions whenever needed * Partnering with external auditors and turning around their information requests in good time * Helping to shape and sharpen KPI reporting across the finance function * Getting stuck into ad hoc finance projects and wider requests from across the team Location / Office / Culture The role is hybrid with 3 days in the office, based in Kidderminster.
