Qualifications and Eligibility

Applicants must have full GMC Registration, a license to practise and be eligible for inclusion in the GMC Specialist Register. Those trained in the UK should have evidence of higher specialist training leading to CCT or be within 6 months of confirmed entry from the date of interview. Portfolio Pathway (formerly known as CESR - Certificate of Eligibility for Specialist Registration) route doctors are only eligible to apply for a substantive consultant post once it has been awarded. Non-UK applicants must demonstrate equivalent training.

Position Details

This is a part-time (8 PAs) clinical post, specialising in Sarcoma/HBD and GIST. The post holder will provide a consultant‑led service for Sarcoma, HPB and GIST Cancer including SACT, targeted therapies and immunotherapy, delivering care centrally in the Edinburgh Cancer Centre and in a peripheral clinic in NHS Fife. They will work closely with other colleagues to deliver across the other SCAN region. The postholder may be required to work at any NHS Lothian or SCAN regional site.
