Automation Maintenance Engineer Location: Chelmsford, Essex Salary: £53,000 Shift Allowance Overtime Full Time | Permanent A leading automated distribution operation is looking for a skilled Multi-Skilled Automation Maintenance Engineer to join their engineering team at a highly automated site in Chelmsford.

The Role Carry out planned, preventative and reactive maintenance on automated equipment Diagnose and resolve electrical and mechanical faults Support continuous improvement and reliability projects Work closely with engineering and operational teams to minimise downtime Maintain accurate maintenance records and fault reports Support site performance through proactive engineering solutions Requirements NVQ Level 3 / ONC or equivalent in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering Experience working on automated machinery or production equipment PLC fault-finding experience preferred Strong understanding of health & safety Able to work independently and within a team Full UK driving licence Shift Pattern This role operates across early, late and night shifts on a rotating basis, including occasional weekend cover and overtime. xwzovoh
