Teacher of Business Studies

Business Studies Teacher (KS3 & KS4) - Immediate Start

We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Business Studies Teacher to join a welcoming Maghull secondary school on a short-term basis.

This is a part-time position, working 4 days per week (Monday to Thursday), delivering engaging and high-quality Business Studies lessons across Key Stage 3 and Key Stage 4. The role is to start immediately and will run until May half term.

There is also the opportunity for this to become a full-time role for candidates who are willing to undertake general cover on the fifth day.

Key Responsibilities:

• Plan and deliver effective Business Studies lessons to KS3 and KS4 students
• Monitor and assess student progress, providing constructive feedback
• Maintain a positive and inclusive classroom environment

Requirements:

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent
• Experience teaching Business Studies at KS3 and KS4
• Strong classroom management skills
• Flexibility and a proactive approach

• Immediate start
• 22 May 2026 finish
• Monday - Thursday with the option for general cover on the Friday

• Enhanced Child workforce DBS on the update service or be prepared to undertake a new one
• Full and complete 10-year career history
• Minimum of 2 references including your most recent employment reference
• Legal right to work in the UK
