This is a hybrid position, combining the best of both worlds - working from home and spending time in our Halifax office.

In this role, you’ll be working in a team where you will be accountable for the end-to-end delivery of one or more portfolios of projects and change, ensuring that outcomes are delivered predictably, safely, and in alignment with Covéa’s strategic objectives

What does a day-to-day look like?
Leads the end‑to‑end delivery of a complex, multi‑initiative portfolio, ensuring alignment to business strategy and regulatory/technology requirements.
Owns portfolio‑level governance, risk, assurance, and decision‑making, providing clear escalation and recommendations to senior leaders.
Manages CapEx and OpEx performance across the portfolio, overseeing forecasting, financial risk, and investment trade‑offs.
Builds and develops high‑performing delivery teams, setting standards, coaching leaders, and strengthening long‑term capability.
Acts as a trusted senior partner to business and technology executives, communicating complex delivery issues with clarity and confidence.
Ensures delivery is outcome‑focused, driving benefits realisation, embedding change, and using data to improve performance over time.
What will help you stand out?
Significant experience delivering complex and strategic projects and programmes across technical and business domains
Proven capability in multiple delivery methodologies, including Agile, Waterfall, and hybrid approaches for IT project delivery
Demonstrated ability to operate effectively at portfolio level, balancing priorities, risks, dependencies, and outcomes
Strong strategic thinking, consistently aligning delivery decisions with wider business objectives
Excellent stakeholder management, communication, and presentation skills, with influence at all organisational levels
Experience operating in regulated or highly complex organisational environments (desirable)
