SEND Teacher –Birmingham  Start Date: September Contract: Temporary ( temp to perm) Pay: £140 – £200 per day We are seeking an experienced and compassionate SEND Teacher to support primary-aged pupils with Social, Emotional and Mental Health (SEMH) needs and additional learning needs. The role involves teaching and supporting pupils both in-centre and through outreach to mainstream settings, helping them engage positively with learning, develop self-regulation, and achieve their potential.  Key Responsibilities • Deliver high-quality lessons tailored to SEND and SEMH pupils • Plan and implement personalised learning strategies and interventions • Support emotional regulation and positive behaviour management • Build strong, trusting relationships with pupils, parents, and staff • Work collaboratively with support staff, SENDCo, and external agencies • Maintain accurate records of pupil progress, behaviour, and interventions • Promote a safe, inclusive, and nurturing learning environment Job Requirements • Qualified teacher status (QTS) • Experience teaching pupils with SEMH and additional learning needs • Strong behaviour management and restorative practice skills • Ability to plan and deliver differentiated lessons • Excellent communication and teamwork skills • Commitment to safeguarding and child protection • Willingness to work across SEND/ SEMH schools across Birmingham In Return You Will Receive • Competitive daily rates of £140 – £200 per day • On-the-job training and ongoing professional support • 24/7 guidance from experienced education consultants • Intelligent matching to schools to support career development and ambition • PK Education is committed to equal opportunities, diversity, and fairness at all stages of recruitment For further information, contact Ciara on (phone number removed) or email your CV to : (url removed)
