JOB DESCRIPTION DEPUTY CARE MANAGER NORTH SHIELDS NEWCASTLE £29000 - £32000 We are recruiting for an experienced Deputy Care Manager to support a domiciliary care service in North Shields, Newcastle. A relatively young branch and part of a large national group, they are looking for a vibrant, energetic Deputy Manager with a UK drivers licence and own car to join their team. This is a fantastic opportunity for a strong care professional to play a role in the day-to-day running of the service, supporting the Registered Manager to drive quality and compliance. Duties Support the Registered Manager with the day-to-day running of the domiciliary care service Help maintain high standards of quality and compliance with CQC regulations Lead, support and develop the care and office teams Oversee care planning, assessments, reviews and risk management Support with safeguarding concerns, incidents and investigations Monitor quality through audits, spot checks and service reviews Build strong relationships with clients, families and healthcare professionals Promote a positive culture focused on teamwork, quality and person-centred care Requirements Previous experience as a Deputy Manager, Care Manager, Team Manager within domiciliary/home care Good understanding of CQC regulations and compliance Experience leading and supporting care teams Strong knowledge of care planning, safeguarding and quality assurance Excellent communication and organisational skills A proactive and hands-on approach to management Level 3 to Level 5 Diploma in Leadership for Health & Social Care Full UK driving licence and access to a vehicle Benefits £29,000 - £32,000 basic salary + pension after probation period Career progression opportunities Professional training and development Permanent, full-time position
