Your best healthcare schemes get diluted above you. Go principal.

Your best healthcare design work keeps getting thinned out somewhere between your desk and the client. More reviewers, more compromises, less of you in the finished building. This role removes the layers.

It sits in the healthcare team of a global engineering consultancy in London, where the electrical design of large, complex clinical schemes is led by the principal and associate grades rather than passed above them. The healthcare workload is committed and growing, which is why the team needs another senior pair of hands it can trust with real authority.

You lead electrical design on hospital and clinical projects, run the client and stakeholder conversations that decide what gets built, and direct the engineers delivering the detail. Healthcare rewards engineers who can hold precision and diplomacy in the same meeting, and that is exactly the skill this seat pays for.

The pipeline matters here too. Healthcare frameworks run for years, so the workload is committed rather than hopeful, and the relationships you build with clinical teams compound over time. You get continuity most consultancies cannot promise, and continuity is what turns a good engineer into a trusted one.

The platform gives you specialist colleagues, serious technical resources and a visible route upwards. Salary is between £78,000 and £140,000 depending on level.

Send a CV, or start with a conversation about the projects. Either is fine.
