Customer Service Advisor - Insurance Claims
East Belfast
We are delighted to be partnering with a well-established specialist insurance services organisation in East Belfast to recruit a Customer Service Advisor.
This is an excellent opportunity to join a supportive, collaborative team where you'll play a key role in guiding commercial clients through the insurance claims process. From the initial notification through to final settlement, you'll provide exceptional customer service while ensuring claims are managed efficiently and professionally.
The Role
Reporting to the management team, your responsibilities will include:
- Acting as the first point of contact for customers throughout the claims journey.
- Registering new insurance claims and guiding customers through the next stages of the process.
- Delivering an outstanding customer experience with empathy, professionalism, and an awareness of supporting vulnerable customers.
- Liaising with claimants, developers, loss adjusters, insurers, and other stakeholders to progress claims through to resolution.
- Managing customer expectations throughout the process, including communicating claim outcomes where appropriate.
- Maintaining accurate records and ensuring all claims are handled in line with company procedures and service standards.
About You
To be successful in this role, you\'ll have:
- Previous experience in an office-based customer service or administrative role, ideally within a service-led environment.
- Strong IT skills, including a good working knowledge of the Microsoft Office suite.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport and manage conversations confidently.
- A proactive approach, strong organisational skills, and the ability to manage multiple tasks effectively.
