Legal Cashier

An excellent opportunity to join a leading international law firm within a well-established Finance function. This role sits within the Cashiers team and focuses on client account transactions, accounts receivable activity and ensuring compliance with SRA Accounts Rules and AML requirements. This is a key position within a busy finance environment and would suit an experienced Legal Cashier looking to join a collaborative and professional team. The role will focus on client accounts. Role * Record and allocate incoming client funds across general and deposit accounts * Process client account payments using online banking platforms and Elite 3E * Prepare interest calculations relating to client monies held * Assist with the prompt return of client funds in line with SRA Accounts Rules * Prepare bank reconciliations for office and client accounts * Ensure all transactions comply with SRA and AML requirements * Support wider cashiering operations and provide cover where required Candidate Requirements * Several years’ legal cashiering experience ideally on client accounts * Strong understanding of SRA Accounts Rules * Experience using legal finance systems such as Elite 3E advantageous * High level of accuracy and attention to detail * Strong organisational and communication skills * Ability to work effectively under pressure and to deadlines * Team-oriented with a proactive and adaptable approach This is a fantastic opportunity to join a high-performing finance team within a stable and internationally recognised professional services environment, offering hybrid working and long-term development potential.
