The Company

I am working with a rapidly growing insurance broker looking to appoint a Finance Manager into their expanding finance team. This is an excellent opportunity for a qualified accountant to join a highly respected business operating across international insurance and reinsurance markets. Reporting directly to the Head of Finance, you'll gain broad exposure across financial reporting, regulatory reporting, management accounting and insurance operations while playing a key role in supporting the company's continued growth.
They are seeking an ACA first mover out of a reputable Mid-Sized Accountancy Practice – with both audit & accounts preparation experience. They are open on the client base exposure.

The Role

Key responsibilities will include:

• Preparation of monthly management accounts
• Supporting statutory accounts, regulatory reporting and audits
• Preparing board and management information packs
• Ownership of cash flow forecasting
• Payroll administration
• Quarterly VAT returns
• Bank reconciliations and bookkeeping within Xero
• Premium and claims processing and reconciliations
• Client money monitoring and reporting
• Investigating and resolving funding and cash allocation issues
• Supporting ad-hoc finance projects across the business

About You

We're keen to speak with candidates who can demonstrate:

• Qualified accountant (ACA) trained in a Mid-Sized practice
• A background combining audit and accounts preparation experience
• Strong Excel skills
• Experience using Xero is a bonus
• Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills
