Year 1 Teacher
Start Date: ASAP
Contract: Full-Time, Long-Term (September 2026 start)
Salary: Main Pay Scale (M3-M6)
Working Pattern: Monday - Friday, 8:15am - 4:00pm
Empowering Learning is delighted to be working with a welcoming, inclusive, and supportive primary school in the Alrewas area to recruit an experienced Year 1 Teacher for an ASAP start. This full-time, long-term role runs until July 2026 and offers an excellent opportunity to make a meaningful impact in a Key Stage 1 setting.

The Successful Candidate Will:
* Hold Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
* Have recent experience teaching in Key Stage 1 (within the last 5 years)
* Demonstrate strong knowledge of the Year 1 curriculum, including phonics (e.g. Read Write Inc. or similar)
* Show excellent communication, teamwork, and organisational skills
* Have strong classroom management and the ability to engage young learners
* Be committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of all children
