  • Lead production scoping, budgeting and commercial negotiations, ensuring projects are delivered efficiently and profitably.
  • Develop innovative production solutions that leverage new technologies, AI tools and emerging production methodologies.
  • Drive continual improvement of production workflows, processes and operational efficiencies.
  • Act as senior escalation point for production challenges, identifying solutions and mitigating risks before they impact delivery.
  • Collaborate with senior client stakeholders to build confidence in DEPT’s production expertise and identify opportunities for account growth.
  • Support new business opportunities, pitches and production consultancy where required.
  • Ensure all productions adhere to legal, compliance, insurance and APA best‑practice guidelines.
  • Champion best‑in‑class production craft across all deliverables and formats.
  • Stay at the forefront of industry trends, emerging technologies and evolving production techniques.

Skills and Previous Experience

  • Extensive experience leading production teams within an agency, production company or integrated creative environment.
  • Proven experience managing and developing senior production talent.

  • Strong understanding of AI, emerging technology and their application within modern production workflows.
  • Experience presenting to and influencing senior internal and client stakeholders.
  • Ability to remain calm, decisive and solutions‑focused under pressure.
  • Passion for developing talent, improving ways of working and elevating production standards.
  • A love of making great work and finding new ways to bring ideas to life.
