English Teaching Assistant – Secondary Education Location: Melton Mowbray and Leicester area available Competitive daily starting from £95 per day | Full-time & part-time opportunities available Do you enjoy helping students develop confidence with reading, writing and communication? We are currently recruiting English Teaching Assistants to support secondary schools across Leicestershire. This role is ideal for graduates, aspiring teachers, experienced TAs or individuals with strong literacy skills and a passion for education. Responsibilities may include: • Supporting students during English lessons • Working with small groups on literacy interventions • Encouraging student engagement and classroom participation • Providing classroom support to the teacher • Supporting pupils with varying learning abilities and needs The ideal candidate will: • Have strong communication and literacy skills • Be patient, encouraging and adaptable • Have experience working with young people or within education (preferred) • Be able to build positive relationships with pupils and staff This is a brilliant opportunity to gain valuable secondary school experience in supportive school environments
