Production Print Field Service Engineer
Southern Home Counties Based with National Travel
Up to £40k plus package
A market-leading organisation within the Production Print sector is looking to recruit an experienced Field Service Engineer to join its growing service division.
The successful candidate should ideally be based within South London or the Southern Home Counties in order to support key customer locations across the region, however the role itself will involve wider UK travel, occasional overnight stays, and support further afield when required.
This is an excellent opportunity for a technically minded engineer with experience across toner-based digital print / POD equipment who enjoys a customer-facing role and wants to join a business known for investment, innovation, and long-term career development.
The successful candidate will be responsible for the installation, servicing, preventative maintenance, and repair of high-end production print equipment across a varied customer base.
The Role:
* Installation and commissioning of toner-based Production Print equipment
* Reactive breakdown support and preventative maintenance
* Electrical, mechanical, and software fault finding
* Supporting customers remotely and on-site
* Monitoring equipment performance and proactively reducing downtime
* Providing operator training and technical guidance to end users
* Working closely with internal technical support and applications teams
* Managing service reports, parts usage, and documentation
* Travelling throughout the UK as required, including occasional overnight stays
Ideal Background:
* Previous experience within:
* Production Print
* POD / Digital Print
* High Volume Toner-Based Print Equipment
* Strong electro-mechanical fault-finding ability
* Customer-facing field service experience
* Experience working on equipment from manufacturers such as Canon, Xerox, Ricoh, Konica Minolta, Sharp, Kyocera or similar advantageous
* Knowledge of Fiery highly advantageous
* Comfortable working independently in the field
* Flexible approach to travel and working away when required
* Full UK driving licence
Package:
* Salary up to a maximum of £40,000 depending on experience
