Mill Operative - Manufacturing

Location: Holywell, Flintshire

Salary: £32,972 p/a + overtime + bonus

Shifts: 4 on/4 off rotating shifts

HRGO Recruitment is recruiting for a mill operative to join a well-established manufacturing business based in Holywell.

This is a hands-on role within a busy manufacturing environment, supporting the safe and efficient operation of production machinery used in the manufacture and processing of insulated panels and building materials.

Key Responsibilities

• Operate and monitor mill machinery and associated production equipment.
• Assist with machine set-up, adjustments and changeovers to meet production requirements.
• Monitor the manufacturing process to ensure products meet quality specifications.
• Carry out routine quality checks, identifying and reporting defects or production issues.
• Ensure materials are fed, processed and handled safely and efficiently.
• Monitor equipment performance and report machinery faults or breakdowns.
• Work towards daily production targets while maintaining quality standards.
• Support basic machinery maintenance, cleaning and housekeeping duties.
• Follow all health, safety and environmental procedures.
