Pertemps are excited to be working in partnership with Kuehne and Nagel who have opportunities for Transport Planners with customs or European freight experience due to a new contract win. Based at East Midlands Gateway you will play a pivotal role in supporting the new contracts success and enjoy career progression opportunities.
Working Hours / Shift Pattern
+ Monday to Friday
+ 9am to 5:30 pm with a 1 hour lunch break
The successful Transport Planner will have:
+ Have previous planning experience within European freight and dealing with customs.
+ Experience on computer based planning systems
+ Comfortable communicating to customers including face to face
Your duties as a Transport Planner will include:
+ Planning drivers routes to, from and around the UK
+ Ensuring paperwork is compliant for correct POD sign offs
+ Coordinate between different departments to ensure multi site communication for customer success
+ Manage ad hoc requests and xwzovoh adjustments
+ Liaise with the customer and manage expectations
You will receive:
+ A starting salary between £28,000 to £35,000
+ Increases based yearly on your individual reviews
