Job Title: Electrical Surveyor (Solar PV & Battery) – West Midlands Location: West Midlands & Surrounding Areas (Field Based) Salary: £42,000 – £48,000 per annum Job Type: Permanent, Full Time Hours: 37.5 hours per week (Monday to Friday) About Apollogrid Apollogrid is a fast-growing renewable energy company specialising in high-quality Solar PV and Battery Storage installations for domestic homes. We are looking for an experienced Electrical Surveyor to join our growing team in the West Midlands. Key Responsibilities: * Perform accurate on-site technical surveys for domestic Solar PV and Battery Storage installations * Evaluate electrical infrastructure, roof suitability, and installation feasibility * Prepare detailed survey reports, including photographs, measurements, and Risk Assessments & Method Statements (RAMS) * Liaise professionally with homeowners and the installation team * Ensure all work meets required safety, quality, and compliance standards Requirements: * Minimum 3 years’ experience as a qualified electrician in the UK * NVQ Level 3 in Electrical Installation * 18th Edition City & Guilds qualification (or equivalent) * BPEC Solar PV qualification preferred * Experience in Heat Pump surveys is advantageous * Strong organisational skills and attention to detail * Proficient with digital reporting tools and tablets * Full UK Driving Licence * Must have the unrestricted right to work in the UK What We Offer: * Starting salary from £42,000 per annum (up to £48,000 depending on experience) * Company Car + Fuel Card * 30 days annual holiday (including bank holidays) * 37.5-hour working week * Opportunity to develop your career with a growing startup How to Apply If you are a qualified electrician with UK experience and would like to join a growing renewable energy company, please click Apply Now and submit your CV.
