We are currently recruiting on behalf of a welcoming and well-resourced secondary school for a talented and creative Textiles Teacher to join their Design & Technology department.

This is a fantastic opportunity for a qualified teacher with a passion for textiles to inspire students and contribute to a thriving and supportive school community. The successful candidate will teach across Key Stages 3 and 4, with the potential for Key Stage 5 depending on experience.
Key Responsibilities:
Plan and deliver engaging and practical Textiles lessons
Encourage creativity, innovation, and technical skill development
Assess and monitor student progress, providing constructive feedback
Contribute to the wider Design & Technology curriculum
Maintain a safe and organised workshop/classroom environment
Requirements:
Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
Degree or strong background in Textiles, Fashion, or a related field
Experience teaching in a UK secondary school setting
Strong classroom management and organisational skills
A passion for creative subjects and student development
All candidates who register with Simply Education are required to provide references for the previous 2 years of work, as well as complete an enhanced DBS check. xwzovoh Any interviews we hold will be conducted over a Teams call.
