A welcoming and well-resourced specialist secondary school in East Finchley is seeking a dedicated and experienced Maths Teacher / Subject Leader to join their team from September on a full-time, temp-to-perm basis.

The Role:
Teach Maths across Key Stages, delivering engaging and differentiated lessons suited to students with additional needs
Teach 4 days per week, with a reduced timetable
Spend 1 day per week leading Maths across the school (PPA Subject Leadership), driving curriculum development and supporting teaching and learning
Play a key role in shaping a structured, supportive learning environment that promotes student progress and independence
The Ideal Candidate:
Qualified teacher with experience teaching Maths
Experience working with autistic students is essential
Strong understanding of SEN strategies and adaptive teaching approaches
Confident in leading a subject area and supporting colleagues
Passionate about making a positive difference in a specialist setting
