Location: Wem Pay Rate: From £14.00 per hour (depending on experience) Hours:
Monday Thursday: 7:00am 5:00pm
Friday: 7:00am 1:00pm
The Role
We are currently recruiting on behalf of our client for an experienced Tele-Truck Driver to join a busy and well-established timber yard team.
This role is ideally suited to candidates with timber yard or builders merchant experience, rather than construction site telehandler operators. The successful candidate will play a key role in supporting daily yard operations, ensuring materials are moved safely and efficiently.
Key Responsibilities
Operating a tele-truck to move timber and building materials around the yard
Loading and unloading deliveries safely and efficiently
Supporting general yard duties when required
Assisting with stock organisation and storage
Ensuring health and safety procedures are followed at all times
Requirements
Previous tele-truck or telehandler experience essential
Timber yard or builders merchant experience preferred
Valid licence/certification to operate telehandler machinery
Strong awareness of health and safety practices
Reliable, hardworking, and able to worko work as part of a team
