Art Teacher

Grade A Recruitment is currently seeking a creative, enthusiastic and experienced Art Teacher or Art Instructor to join a mainstream secondary school in Peterborough from January 2027.

The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering engaging Art lessons across KS3, KS4 and KS5 (up to A-Level), inspiring students to develop their creativity, practical skills and artistic knowledge.

Key Responsibilities

* Plan and deliver engaging Art lessons up to A-Level.

* Undertake full teaching responsibilities, including planning, preparation, marking and assessment.

* Monitor student progress and provide constructive feedback.

* Maintain a positive and inclusive classroom environment.

* Support students in developing their artistic skills and confidence.

Requirements

* Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or relevant experience teaching Art as an Instructor.

* Experience teaching Art within a secondary school setting, ideally up to A-Level.

* Confidence in undertaking full teaching duties.

* Strong classroom management and communication skills.

* A genuine passion for Art and inspiring young people.

* An enhanced DBS on the Update Service or willingness to obtain one.
