Fees Finance Assistant

WHAT'S IN IT FOR YOU? * Competitive salary package * 37.5 hours per week with term-time schedule * Use of college sports facilities during allocated times * School lunch provided during term time * Access to pension scheme (subject to probation) * Opportunity to work in a supportive educational environment * Contribute to a respected independent school with strong academic and extracurricular activities MUST HAVE'S * Previous finance experience with accurate data management * Experience in debtor management and collections * Ability to work efficiently under pressure and meet deadlines * Confident, self-motivated, and highly organised * Excellent communication and customer service skills * Proficient in Office 365, Word, Excel, and Email * Team player with a professional attitude NICE TO HAVE'S * Experience in fees administration or school finance * Familiarity with school billing systems (e.g., iSAMS, Pass, Evolve) * Knowledge of Direct Debit collections * Relevant professional qualification (e.g., AAT or equivalent) SO, WHAT WILL YOU BE DOING? * Preparing and issuing accurate termly fee bills for pupils * Reconciling billing accounts and maintaining accurate fee records * Managing communications with parents regarding fees and payments * Responding promptly to queries via email and telephone * Supporting and maintaining efficient billing and collection processes * Administering Direct Debit collections and recovering failed payments * Monitoring and following up on overdue accounts and payment plans * Assisting with process improvements and system updates * Supporting audits and handling ad hoc administrative duties HELPFUL EXTRAS * Opportunities for professional development * Progression within a reputable school environment * Engagement with a vibrant community of staff and pupils Interested?
