Hawkes Resourcing Group are currently recruiting experienced 3.5 Tonne Delivery Drivers for our client based in Crayford, Kent. This is a 12-week temp-to-perm opportunity with excellent long-term prospects for reliable drivers looking for a permanent position. Please note that this is a physically demanding delivery role. You will be completing one-person deliveries of shower and bathroom equipment, with no driver's mate, so candidates must be comfortable with regular manual handling and heavy lifting. The Role * Driving a 3.5 tonne delivery vehicle * Multi-drop deliveries to customers * Delivering shower and bathroom equipment * Loading and unloading goods safely * Regular heavy lifting and manual handling * One-person deliveries with no driver's mate * Checking goods and delivery paperwork * Providing a professional service to customers at delivery points * Ensuring goods are delivered safely and on time * Monday to Friday with early morning starts Requirements * Full UK driving licence suitable for driving a 3.5 tonne vehicle * Previous 3.5 tonne / van delivery driving experience preferred * Comfortable with heavy lifting and manual handling * Physically fit and able to complete one-person deliveries * Reliable and punctual * Good customer service and communication skills * Comfortable with multi-drop delivery work * Able to work independently What's On Offer £13.00 per hour – Umbrella PAYE Plus separate holiday pay This is initially a 12-week temporary assignment, with the opportunity to become a permanent employee with the client after successfully completing the temp-to-perm period.
