We are is looking for a Transport Coordinator to join its busy operation in Thurrock on a permanent basis, working a 4 on 4 off night shift pattern.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare daily transport plans and conduct driver pre-shift briefings.
  
• Coordinate transport operations to ensure customer and company requirements are met.
  
• Manage the effective use of fleet vehicles and subcontractors while controlling costs.
  
• Produce daily customer KPI reports and volume calculations.
  
• Execute transport plans and make operational adjustments to minimise stock shortages.
  
• Ensure compliance with Working Time Directive regulations and company procedures.
  
• Record and report all accidents and incidents promptly.
  
• Act as the first point of contact for drivers and provide operational support throughout the shift.
  

What We're Looking For

• Previous experience within a fast-paced transport or logistics environment.
  
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
  
• Strong organisational and problem-solving abilities.
  
• Good working knowledge of Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel and Outlook.
  
• Ability to remain calm and make effective decisions in a busy operational setting. xwzovoh
