We're on the lookout for a motivated and customer-focused Driver to be the face of our branch! You'll play a key role in delivering and collecting goods efficiently and safely, while representing our brand with professionalism and a can-do attitude.

From loading and unloading to ensuring deliveries are spot on, you'll need a keen eye for detail, great communication skills, and a willingness to go the extra mile. You'll also need to lift and move stock, so being physically fit is important.

Responsibilities
Operate commercial vehicles safely and efficiently, ensuring compliance with all traffic laws and regulations.
Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the vehicle to ensure it is in good working condition.
Load and unload goods, ensuring proper handling of materials, particularly when using flatbed lorries.
Plan routes effectively to optimise delivery times and fuel efficiency.
Maintain accurate records of deliveries, including logs of mileage, fuel consumption, and any incidents that occur during transit.
Communicate effectively with dispatchers and other team members regarding delivery schedules and any issues that may arise.
Adhere to health and safety guidelines at all times to ensure personal safety as well as the safety of others on the road
Hours
Monday - Friday plus every other Saturday 42 hours per week
Experience
Proven experience as a delivery driver or in a similar role is preferred.
Valid commercial driving licence (C+E or equivalent) is essential.
Experience with flatbed lorries is advantageous but not mandatory; training will be provided for the right candidate.
Strong knowledge of road safety regulations and best practices for commercial driving.
Excellent time management skills and the ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
Good communication skills, both verbal and written, are essential for effective interaction with clients and team members.
