SEND Learning Support Assistant (Primary & Secondary) Learning Support Assistant – SEND Schools Southampton £14.30 per hour Teaching Personnel are recruiting Learning Support Assistants (LSAs) to work in a range of primary and secondary schools across Southampton that support pupils with Education, Health and Care Plans (EHCPs). These schools cater for children and young people with a variety of additional needs, including autism, ADHD, communication needs and learning difficulties. Responsibilities Supporting pupils 1:1 or in small groups Helping students access the curriculum Supporting emotional regulation and social development Working alongside teachers and SEND professionals Requirements Previous experience working with children or young people This could include education, youth work, care work, medical settings, Camp America, sports coaching or similar roles Availability at least 4 days per week Enhanced Child Workforce DBS on the Update Service or willingness to apply for one What we offer Competitive £14.30 per hour Work across supportive schools in Southampton Opportunities in both primary and secondary SEND settings Good transport links to schools If you're passionate about supporting children with additional needs, we would love to hear from you.
