Nursery Assistant

Team Educate are currently recruiting enthusiastic and caring Nursery Assistants to support early years settings across Yeovil. This is a fantastic opportunity to gain hands-on experience while making a real difference in young children’s development. The Role * Supporting children in their early years development (ages 0–5) * Assisting with daily nursery routines, including play, meals, and activities * Helping to create a safe, nurturing, and stimulating environment * Working alongside staff to support children’s learning through play * Supporting children with additional needs where required The Ideal Candidate * Passionate about working with young children * Patient, caring, and reliable * Confident in a nursery or early years setting * Willing to learn and develop new skills * Previous experience in childcare is desirable, but not essential What We Offer * Competitive hourly pay: £13–£15 per hour * Flexible working to suit your availability * Ongoing support from a friendly, local team * Opportunities for long-term placements * Valuable, paid experience in a variety of nursery settings Safer Recruitment & Safeguarding Team Educate is committed to safer recruitment practices.
